IBPS Clerical exam: The Focus


IBPS Exam Book

IBPS CWE is the exam held for recruitment to nationalized banks in across India to fill vacancies for clerical level jobs. A Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in Public Sector Banks. IBPS clerk and other Bank Jobs can be availed after clearing this exam. Gradually, IBPS  clerks can get promoted to higher positions. The banks usually prefer promoting people from within to handle roles of greater responsibility, rather than employing people from outside that makes Bank Jobs easier for you to get.

Selection Process

An online written objective test shall be held in the month of December at various centers across India.

The test paper would consist of the following sections- Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness & Computer Knowledge.  You can refer to some good bank books to prepare. There will be negative marking of 1/ 4 of the total marks allotted to the questions. The time allowed will be 2 hours and number of questions will be 200 of total marks 200. Study Material  

Practicing the exam is the key to succeed. Although the questions are objective in nature, there is a lot of potential applied to practice and solve them.  Since the exam is just round the corner, it is advised you to start preparing with a book to crack the exams with a proper guidance.
