After the preparation, comes another stage and that is Revision. This is one of the most crucial stage of the entire preparation cycle for an exam. Once you have completed your entire syllabus and all subjects, start with revision. It is highly possible that when you just complete preparing your syllabus and don’t revise it, you may tend to forget the concepts and jumble everything together.
Moving ahead, your mission should be to revise the entire syllabus of all subjects at least twice before exams, rest we’d say- the more, and the better. Revising more than once is the key to attempt the paper well and with very precise efficiency. This may sound to be a tough task but it is actually not as what all you need is solution to each topic of the syllabus recommended.
Revision Materials-
1. Solved Papers- Going through the solutions give you a fair idea about how should you solve a particular question in order to attain maximum scores. Sometimes, students tend to write more than required, this consumes all the time and further there is less time remaining to solve other questions and so happens vice-versa. Therefore, we recommend you to go through solved papers.
2. Mock Tests- It is important to keep a check on where your preparation stands, therefore, keep testing yourself. Solve the entire paper in 3 hours. This will help you to know how much time does a particular section requires. You will also have an idea on what kinds of questions can you expect.
3. Past year papers- Solving past year papers will again give you a direction and a good understanding of what kind of questions you can expect. The exam pattern keeps changing slightly every year. Target to solve past 10 years of papers or at least 5 years.
4. Revising again and again- As already mentioned above, keep revising as much as you can.

For example- Jot down all the formulae and stick them in front of your bed, washroom, wherever possible or let’s say whichever place grabs your eye contact even for few seconds.
