Medical Entrance Exam Basic Pattern
Medical question paper can be bilingual i.e in both Hindi
and English.
These tests usually are either of one or two stages. If the
test is of one stage then only a mains exam is conducted to execute the
selection process, whereas if it is a two stage entrance test, then first a
preliminary followed by mains exam is conducted to fulfill the purpose of
selection.
The medical entrance exam basically consists of four
subjects; these are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.
A typical pattern of the exam contains 200 objective and
reasoning type questions; 60 each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The
General Knowledge section include 20 questions, in order to check the aspirants
general awareness.
Students who have completed their class 12 with science stream
are eligible to apply for any medical entrance exams.
The objective type question constitute of 4 options of answers wherein you have to choose one right answer. Here, you have to be very careful as the wrong answers can fetch you negative marking.
